Approximately one in ten couples experience difficulties conceiving after a year of trying. If pregnancy has not been achieved after six months of trying, we recommend that you visit our clinic to begin a thorough study of the problem.
At GINEPÉREZ, formerly Gynecology Doctoras Pérez, we carry out a comprehensive evaluation of couples with reproductive problems, identifying the possible causes of infertility and designing a treatment plan adapted to their individual needs.
These studies may include:
- Hormonal assessments in women.
- Monitoring ovulation using ultrasound studies.
- Semen analysis.
- Assessment of uterine health and patency of the fallopian tubes.
- Blood tests and other tests to investigate possible additional causes.
ARTIFICIAL INSEMINATION
Our gynecological center offers artificial insemination services, a procedure that involves the treatment of semen to improve the quality and mobility of sperm, followed by its placement in the uterine cavity, near the tubes.
IN VITRO TREATMENTS
In collaboration with the Grávida Centre, we offer assisted reproduction treatments, which include ovarian stimulation to obtain multiple eggs. The patient is then subjected to a brief general anesthesia to extract the eggs from the ovaries.
Eggs and sperm are combined in the laboratory to form embryos. Once the embryos reach the appropriate stage of development and the patient is at the optimal time of her cycle, intrauterine embryo transfer is performed.
